Fourth Annual Relay for Life

Next Generation Gaming will be hosting its fourth Relay for Life event on Saturday, July 26th, 2014. For those of you who do not know what the Relay for Life is, or why Next Generation Gaming supports it, below is a brief description of what this event is about -

In more than 5,200 communities and 20 countries, Relay For Life events comprise the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Each Relay For Life event is special to its community, but the movement’s true power lies in the combined commitment of thousands of participants, volunteers, and supporters to help the American Cancer Society save lives from cancer.

At the end of our event, a donation will be made to the American Cancer Society. We will have three large grouping times, one in each timezone.

1:00PM-3:00PM - Grand Opening / First Group: Opened by the President
8:00PM-9:00PM - Regroup: Opened by Fireworks
2:00AM-3:00AM (Sunday, July 27th, 2014) – Final Regroup: Opened by Fireworks

The event will take place in San Fierro. However, unlike the last two years, we have remapped the event route.

Like last year, you are able to create your own team for the Relay for Life Event. The following information below is in regards to team information

Team Registration Fee – There will be a registration fee of $100,000 if you want to make your own team. You will be the team leader after purchasing a team and you will have the ability to invite people to your team.

Team Name – The team leader will be able to choose their own team name. The team name will also be floating next to the players name. Upon requesting your team name, it will be pending an administrator for approval.

Rewards are as followed:

1st Place Team Winner: 100 Credits (each person)

2nd Place Team Winner: Custom Shop Toy (each person)

3rd Place Team Winner: Boombox (each person)

1st Place Winner: 500 Credits

2nd Place Winner: 300 Credits

3rd Place Winner: 200 Credits

The way the donation works is quite simple, for each lap completed by a player, Next Generation Gaming will donate 5 Cents, which will go up to a maximum of $250.00. For every 10 laps completed, you will automatically receive a FREE gift once completed all 10 Laps!
